HELLO SKY — 2010

Musical imagining of artist Georgia O'Keeffe's journey to New Mexico. Music and additional book & lyrics by Alisa Bair. Produced under former title "Georgia O'Keeffe: A Woman on Paper" by OperaLancaster - Roschel Performing Arts Center, PA (2010). Songs featured in From Page to Stage season of new musicals - The Landor, London (2014).

FALLING — 2008

Musical adaptation of Korean movie. Music by Hyeyoung Kim. Commissioned by Musical Heaven. Produced in Daegu International Musical Festival, S. Korea (2010). Winner of Chang Jak Factory prize (2009). Songs presented at NAMT songwriter showcase (2010) and Pigalle Club, London (2009).

T-ROOM, The Musical — 2021 (in development)

Musical about the legendary Texas Inn a.k.a The T-Room, in Lynchburg, VA. Commissioned by Endstation Theatre Company. Inspired by the play Counter/Top by Kirin McCrory. With music by Rosabella Gregory.

TRAINRIDE — 2006

One-act musical about dying. Produced by Impetuous Kinship - Warehouse Theatre, Croydon (2006).

WILLY & RUPERT — 2005 

Original musical about two lifelong friends and their quest to be in The Times obituaries. Music by Sam Piperato.

Presented at O'Neill National Music Theater Conference (2005). Part of Bridewell Theatre's Creativity Outbreak season, London (2004). Daryl Roth grant recipient.

IN NOMINE AMORIS — 1997

Original musical. Love story set in a cemetery. Music by Rosabella Gregory. Winner of Vivian Ellis Prize (1997). Showcase presented at Her Majesty’s Theatre, London.

CITY STORIES — 2014 to 2016

Lyrics for songs co-written with composer Rosabella Gregory featured in series of interwoven stories, written by James Phillips and produced at various venues including St.James Theatre, London, and 59E59, NYC (2016).

Operas

LIBRETTO     for:

The Barefoot Dancer & The Demon of the Belfry — 2018

Aria "Where No Bell Tolls," written with Rosabella Gregory and commissioned by the National Opera Studio. Premiered at Hoxton Hall, London (June, 2018). Subsequent performances: Grimeborn Festival, UK, and various venues in Moscow, Russia, as part of the British Council's UK-Russia Year of Music. Full opera about Maud Allan in development.

Plays

HALF — One-act play about a verbally brutal encounter. Samuel French Short Play Festival (2007).

SPITTING DISTANCE — Experimental play about transgression. Produced by Looking Glass, NYC (2007). Samuel French Short Play finalist (2005). Duologue published in Women's Monologues Vol. II (2008).

 

WORDS & LADDERS — One-act cyclical play about mistrust of words. Produced by Looking Glass, NYC (2005). Produced by Out of the Woodwork, Gielgud Theatre, London (2004).

Songs

I have written hundreds of songs, most of them with my twin sister and musical-half, Rosabella Gregory. She is a singer-songwriter in the UK who also composes, arranges, improvises, orchestrates, and lectures when she is not on stage!
